Jowomenomics is a Jordanian non-profit that works on addressing issues related to women economic empowerment. A major aim behind the Jowomenomics interventions is to increase female participation in the labor force by working with local communities to motivate mindset change in favor of women’s economic participation. Today the most prominent barrier to women’s participation in the country’s economy is the cultural perceptions and subjective belief.
