The 29th of April marked the beginning of the Gender Based mapping in School Curriculum Workshop, a two days workshop that has taken place in Amman, Ayass Hotel. The workshop was delivered and facilitated by Ms. Mayyada Abu Jaber – CEO of the World of Letters.
The WPP have implemented the Gender Based Analysis on School Curriculum Workshop to analyze the text, pictures, and hidden messages that reflects a negative image on women in the society or limits them with certain sectors. This workshop aims to empowering women as an active member in the society by calling out their role, and how women are being represented in an unjust form in the school curriculums leading it to form an image of burden and unqualified for leadership roles.
